Dr. Adin currently serves as the lead project manager for legal research and writing at the Law Office of Benjamin Greenwald. A Fulbright scholar with a background in legal history and anthropology, Dr. Adin brings years of legal analysis to the firm’s team.  Her writings include an award-nominated book: The Brooklyn Thrill-Kill Gang and the Great Comic Book Scare of the 1950s as well as numerous book chapters, articles, and presented lectures exploring the evolution of the juvenile justice system and shifting societal beliefs around delinquency prevention and treatment. 

Dr. Adin’s twenty-five year career in K-16 education spanned from administration of programs for at-risk youth, teaching in non-traditional college programs, and acting as the regional lead for regulatory compliance for 47 school districts and four BOCES.  Dr. Adin represented the Mid-Hudson region on state-wide committees to help create and amend regulations, particularly the implementation of the New York State Education Law § 2-d (“Ed Law 2-d”) requirements. 

Serving as her bargaining unit’s president and vice-president from 2017 to 2025, Dr. Adin’s experience also includes negotiating employment contracts and representing union members through various employment matters. Dr. Adin is currently attending law school at Northeastern University School of Law.
